Influenza Vaccinations
If you are over the age of 65, pregnant, or have a chronic health condition vaccination is free.
Please talk to our staff if you would like to have a flu vaccination, or to discuss if you are eligible for a free vaccination.
Annual vaccinations are available until the end of August each year, however we recommend being vaccinated in March or April before the flu season starts as the vaccine takes several weeks to be effective.
For vaccinations at your workplace please call 04 939 9868 to arrange a visit to your workplace by our vaccination team (minimum numbers of your staff having the flu vaccination will apply).
Zostavax Vaccination
In New Zealand from 1 April 2018, the shingles vaccine is funded for people who are 65 years old. People aged 66–80 years may also receive the funded vaccination until 31 March 2020. Please phone 04 9399868 to make an appointment with the nurse.
