Dr Deepshika Munshi

Deepshika has been working at Petone Medical Centre since September 2014. She really enjoys the diverse cultural atmosphere of Petone.
She has had a background of working in paediatrics while in India and the UK before coming to New Zealand where she joined the General Practice Programme. She is aiming to gain new skills especially in the field of skin cancer diagnosis and eventually in Family Planning medicine.
Dr Jaya Sukumaran
FRNZCGP
Jaya has been working since 2007 in general practices within the Wellington region, attaining a Fellowship in General Practice in 2011. She enjoys working collaboratively with patients from diverse backgrounds, especially in the management and prevention of chronic conditions. Through years of hospital training, Jaya has become skilled in minor surgery, and joint injections. Alongside this, she is also experienced in travel medicine, and looks forward to further expand her knowledge and training for the care of her patients.
Dr Istvan Gyori

Istvan joined Petone Medical Centre in October 2021. Prior to that, he had worked as an Internal Medicine Physician. Before coming to New Zealand, he worked in general practice in the Republic of Ireland and Hungary. After gaining broad experience in general practice in Europe, he relocated with his family to New Zealand in January 2013. He has vast experience in providing medical care for patients from diverse backgrounds. He enjoys all aspects of internal medicine, general practice, and health education. He enjoys working with patients in a multi-cultural environment.

Lynne started working at Petone Medical Centre in January 2021 she has been working in the Health industry since 1995 and enjoys working in the Medical field.
Lynne loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys shopping and walking

Sarah stated working at Petone Medical Centre in March 2013 having a strong background in Medical Centre work. She has two children who keep her busy outside of work. Her interests include netball, rugby and she has a passion for cars (Holden not Ford!) and can often be seen attending V8 motorsport events, drags and speedway.

Tracey commenced working for Petone Medical Centre in May 2024. She has lived and worked in the Lower Hutt Community for a number of years and enjoys working in the Medical Industry. Her interests include, Cooking, V8 Motorsport and Socializing with her Family and Friends.
